Registration Instructions

1. Go to www.turnitin.com

2. Select "New Users" in the upper right-hand corner (unless you have previously registered, in which case you simply login with your username and password)

3. On the next page, select "Student"

4. On the next page, you will need to complete a few items:

a. The Class ID for APUSH is 2437999.

b. The Class ID for CPUSH period 2 is 2438000.

c. The Class ID for CPUSH period 7 is 2438001.

d. The Class ID for CPUSH period 9 is 2438002.

e. The Class ID for Holocaust and Genocide Studies is 2438003.

f. The Enrollment Password for all classes is "history" in lower case letters without the quotation marks.

g. Your first name.

h. Your last name.

i. Your email address.

j. Your own unique password for accessing this site in the future. (Entered twice)

k. A secret question and answer (in case you forget your password)

5. Click "I Agree to Create a Profile."

6. You are basically done...you'll receive email confirmation of the activation of your profile and you will be ready to login and submit a paper for the first time.

Submission Instructions

1. Login

2. Select the appropriate class if you are registered for more than one class.

3. Select the appropriate assignment for that class.

4. Click "Submit"

5. You can then browse for a file on your computer, or you can copy and paste text directly from a program.

6. Click submit/ok to confirm your submission.

7. Save your email receipt as proof that you submitted work to the site.

8. Logout
